Hi! Maiden voyage with son. Granite converted to big rock length. A few times during the run the car stopped and the throttle stopped working. The steering still worked. The ESC weren't blinking. When pushing throttle the ESC light lit up, red. Turning off and on the ESC resolved the issue. It had a dusty motors protection installed. About - 6 degrees celsius outside. Quite a lot of snow outside. No snow under the dusty. RC setting punch 1, 2s lipo, 50% power. What is the most likely cause to the throttle stop working?

Cold lipos!

When under load and/or high gearing, the ESC can trigger LVC because of the dip in voltage. Voltage sag will occur more often with cold lipos and will take longer to recuperate. Optimal operating temps for lipos are around 5-30°c

Aha! Thx! It always happened when we missed a turn on our track and it went into sligthly deeper snow. I'll test again later when there is no snow and warmer and see if the problem persists. I've since posting read that cut off is a common problem with the ESC and that it falls under warranty.
