Got a package from amain today and it gave me some parts to continue!

Got my springs for my rear shocks:

The heat shrink was a last minute thought. I was just gonna roll with the red but thought this would be better Last bit of red will be the shocks .. not sure how to do that yet probably just leave em red

Some really stout parts going in, gonna be a tough little truck, have you de anodised the pillow ball retainers? Will shift for sure with the 2200 motor

Thanks brother Now the wait for parts is on backorder on a arms and roll hoop.. couple other parts will trickle in as well. Thinking after the 1st of the year for completion on this bad boy. Unless I can find some from someone on the forum

thank man! I think it’ll be a rocket! The pillow ball retainers I bought from Basherqueen when she was offering her stripped looking parts.. I also have some of the shock bodies on my outcast and soon my wife’s kraton and infraction. If you look close in this picture you can see the servo arm was done as well.

Same here but mine are already on the way thankfully. Last I checked they are in Kansas Sucks they got sent FedEx as they went from NJ to PA, OH and now in KS. So hoping mid to end of next week maybe

Are you looking to keep it 100% original, would mojave arms give you a touch of extra width? Would they work with the shocks?

I think everything would work but I worry about the body getting destroyed with tires i have senton arms on order… and typhon arms are a touch longer and then the Mojave arms are longer than typhon..

might work my way up and see what works with the body/tire combos. If it’s anything like the Mojave’s body tire ratio then I don’t think any wider will work

What method are you going to use? I've been thinking of doing the same thing to the Senton I'm rebuilding. The shock bodies are the only red component on the whole build and I'd much prefer them be bare.
