The day has come, my EXB came in the mail.

Very cool box I might add..

I have my electronics, and I will be installing them over the next few days.

Haha, you know it. Of course now that I get the thing I goto my xt90 bag and all I have are battery sides ??‍

Just need to tear into these diffs and at least change / fill the fluids..

Skip to about 1:35 if you get bored easy. Even then it’s not much... it’ll be a better video when I can get back out to the property.

So after gearing down to see if I can avoid some heat... it’s still running hot. 16T pinion on a 1650kv motor shouldn’t be too much for it... after about 10-12 minutes run time not even being hard on it the motor is 160-170 degrees. This is the same result on my heavier kraton xl that has a 20T pinion... so maybe that’s just where it runs ???? It’s never really gotten hotter than that but gets there pretty quick and stays about there. Wish there was a quick n easy fan solution for this motor ... gonna have to be something custom...

What did you do about the motor wire leads? I didn’t see a way to fit that in there...

I’m just working on mine. Took a break for lunch. I will update my build thread with what I modify and what not.

Was taking my wheels off today to do a general clean on the unit after my 2nd 10 minute goof session. And noticed my rear wheel was a little off. ?..

I took the wheel nut off only to find out the wheel had been jammed on there in an off key position and it also looked like the hex pin was a little protruding. ??‍

Think they’ll replace a wheel ? Other side didn’t look quite 100% true either. Both rear wheels were very tough to get off.

QC on this EXB is really slacking..? all the diff problems people are having and now you've got a wheel that wasn't fitted correctly !!

Seriously considering canceling my pre-order and buying the 8s Outcast instead ?
