I also have a motor fan laying around. I'll need it for sure. On 8s I was hitting around 171F while driving hard with the 23T pinion . Do you run yours on 8s?

I can get crazy rotation and backflips on 8s, even with the stock tires. How are your diffs holding up? Some people say that the diffs don't last long term on 8s. Same thing with the HW 4985 motor since it's not rated for 8s. Someone mentioned that the HW motor only lasted a few months on 8s. I also have a MMX8S and 1717 on my other Mojave EXB, but for some reason, the HW system seems to have more torque and acceleration? I know it's weird. Same 23t pinion stock tires and batteries . Oh yeah, when I tried running 8s with the Castle system and 23t, I melted the 1717 motor. I had to buy another one. Maybe because the HW Mojave is brand new? The Castle system came in a beat up Mojave EXB TBH.

Been on 8s for about a year. Refilled them look once 30/50/30. haven't touched them since.

My Castle locked up first run. Warrantied one worked flawlessly, until I snapped the shaft while trying to get the 25t off to swap the 30t. Lol.

Had the HW in stock and I'm glad they did. It's been fantastic.

I want a wing on my Mojave soooo bad.

What wing is that? does it fit on without any mods? Man every time I see you guys posting about mojaves it makes me want one so bad. I've already bought so many rigs and motor combos though. Every other day I'm telling the wifey I want one, I'm sure she expects me to just pull the trigger at any moment now lol.

I wonder if a 4070 tp motor would fit in a mojave?

I used senton 6s,the narrowest suspension to tuck the big 1/5 in the wheelwells.senton6 front tower& bmounts.i started with a kraton wing mount.started adding to it till it worked.
Heres the wing did up a bit different...an a 2wd project I've been working on with 1/5 on rear an 1/8 on front.tp5660

So did the screw to set the mesh line up in yours when you put the motor plate in? mine is acting like it's not at the right angle to thread in but will go right in with the slide removed. I ended up leaving it out and kinda defeating the purpose of running a pps mount
@K-BASH I stretched a stretched mojave chassis out and wide to run 8s on 1/5 grp's and I'm debating on going back with 6s Outcast tires to make it an off road rig now that i have a few more on road setups.

That worked for mine, but the center diff cover screws are just sitting in there with globs of thread lock because ANY amount of pressure made the center diff lock up and the hole for the shaft was too small for the shaft of the pinion and set screw.

Overall was disappointed, not really sure why I got one for this one. Lol.

You know mine was that way when I put the top on but I kinda spun it with some force and it started spinning freely like there was a burr or something. If it gives me problems I’m putting a stock one back on

I think I've seen you post about one too many mojave because I just did something stupid and spent more money on my now 9th rig since I started in october. Just ordered a mojave exb and a mmx8s + tp 4060cm 2080kv motor. I feel so guilty every time I make a purchase and then it gets here, and I feel ecstasy, I think I have a problem. I even had to buy another plastic shelf to put all these things as I'm running out of room. I never thought I'd have almost every damn 6s arrma rig.
