Bought the TLR wheel hexes because I like the black better than the red. Changed the fronts out easy peezy, rears not so much. Both allen screws for the rears are rounded out so badly the MIP won't even do it 🤦🏻‍♂️ what option do i have now besides drill them out and order new rear axles? Surely I'm not the only one who's ran into this

Try wera hex plus bits or hammer a torx bit in . you can also remove the wheel and heat the grub screw with a soldering iron or mini blow torch

60 seconds would be max. I've had a few stubborn ones I heated on & off for 60s to get them out. Most of the time like 30s. The plastic can get hot. But the loctite will wisp smoke out.

These are unfortunately stubborn. Bust out the torch before even starting (y)

I think I have heard people successfully punching the pin out as well and then dealing with or tossing the hex.
Yeah since the pin doesn’t have a flat machined in, she’ll come out in a vice with the right punch.

Million dollar idea right here.

Soldering tips with a 2" hex head on them. Not for removing anything but to heat up a screw or grub to burn off the loctite!
You sir are onto something there! I'd definitely purchase lol
