I keep braking my rear diff gear and pinion I can’t put the punch level to high and have to loosen my slipper clutch also saw the metal pinion and gear that hot racing is coming out with did anyone buy this diff yet or figure out how to stop the rear diff from breaking

Get the HR yokes.

I remember you laughing when I bought mine. ???

Yep your yokes are probably messed up. Replace the input shaft and diff cup too.
I remember you repeatedly bringing this up. It's like you have d!ck-itis. I poked fun at the c-hubs and knuckles. I don't remember poking fun at the yokes on your Kraton. The 3s rigs don't need them but the larger tires on the 4s rigs causes flex.

I’ve never broken a diff yet, so maybe I’m not the one to ask. I still have all my diff cups and input gears. I bought spares at one point to have a backup but it has just been a convenient way to swap fluids. I’m currently running 100k in my Kraton. It for sure doesn’t turn as easy, but I don’t like ballooning. I only have a few packs thru it since the fluid swap, so the jury is still out. So far so good.

If you end up going with the steel diff set from hot racing let us know how it works out..

As I side note the pictures of the tooth failure looks like a power on landing wiped them out.. even the 6s rigs will lunch a ring and pinion with power on landings... something to keep in mind...

so I ran the car today playing with the slipper clutch the whole time also ran the car at a light speed with wheels up to break in the new pinion and rear cup running 200k fluid and seems this might be the way to go b4 hot racing steel diff so that’s today’s update let u know what happens supper cold out but the ice was a good test for slipper tension
