Kraton Rear Shock Springs on k6

Recently put HobbyWing 4990 g2 max 6 combo on the Kraton 6s v5 Blx. My problem is the rear squats to much. Lookin fo stiffer rear springs. Any ideas?

I went through the same thing when I added a 4990 in my K6. You can read here, the before posts & after posts at this one. Just what you described.

Got a new set of springs for the K6 4990 to go on the new longer V5 Kraton shocks. These are Fireteam springs. 1.7mm wire diameter on both. Same overall length both sets. Little stronger spring rate than the V5, which are 1.6mm diameter rear & 5.0lb/in & 1.7mm diameter front & 6.2lb/in. Fireteam are 5.54lb/in R, & 6.91lb/in F. V5 weighs 10.67lbs, EXB 12.24lbs, & a Fireteam 13.77lbs. My K6 4990 weighs 12.3lbs with 4s backflips. Should be good if I go to 6s BFs.

What are your corner weights? Running a huge Lipo? The can is only 700 grams, roughly the same weight as a 5000mah 6S Packs.

Big Rock/Fireteam Springs and 100+weight fluid would be the easiest remedy if you didn’t want to swap pistons.
