What’s the difference between the SR300 and SR315 that come with the 3S and 6S cars?

SLR300 uses the SLT protocol the SR315 uses DSM2. Ie you cannot use the SLR300 with a Spektrum DX5C but you can use the SR315 with it.
I thought just the transmitter was dual?The SR315 is dual so it can do SLT or DSMR. Just in case you have both type of transmitter.

SR315 ships with the V5 Kraton and some other of the newer rigs. A big selling point on the box was that it works with DSMR too, since the V5 K6S ships with an SLT3 transmitter.
