Recently put a HobbyWing max6 4990 gs combo in and I'm wondering what the best pinion gear to use. Also the motor hangs over. Thoughts?

Need a recommendation on pinion gears and to see if this motor is in danger of damage

Motor is fine as long as your not jumping into a pile of rocks.
For pinion, 20 will put you into the mid 60's mph. Adjust from there depending on your liking.
Get something under that motor can to stop it from flexing to the chassis, if theres even any room under that big ol thing

I have a V3 Kraton with a Max6 G2 4990 combo & I run a 18t pinion on the smaller 4s backflips. I believe they are smaller than the Copperheads. The chassis is a little different on the V3, the 4990 doesn't hang off. I run dual fans, doesn't get too hot. It did w/o the fans.

I put a O-ring under mine. I can look up the size- I can't remember right off.

It's a 46×50×2mm metric Buna 70 O-ring
