Hi All,

I’m looking for a good quality servo for my typhon nothing that’s gonna break the bank and I would mainly use it for some bashing but more racing. Also it doesn’t have to be waterproof because I never run my rigs during wet conditions.

Here is a servo post I made on a thread about the newer Granite 4x4 mega -

Yeah, stock servo's often suck.

Here are a few options I have -

Turnigy 1258TG $35 - I am running this in my Typhon. Great servo, decent price.

Trackstar TS411MG $16 - I have two of these, only mounted one, in a RC10. Other is planned for a M.Rage that I keep saying I will build as a drifter.

While I like my 1258TG, I notice HK now redirects my link to a different servo, and I can't find any mention of my servo there anymore... I suspect it was discontinued. The servo that pops up in my 1258TG link looks good on paper, though. That TGY-WP23 is listed at 23kg torque and 0.12s at 6v, plus is waterproof. Not bad for $40.

The TS411MG could work for a Typhon, but it may be a bit light on power.

I have a friend that wants to sell me a savox1210sg. Has anyone had experience with this servo. I heard it’s reliable but not great for racing.
