just upgraded from my GT Power SD4-I to the ISDT K2. what an upgrade lol
Downside to the K2 is the fan noise and hte XT60 connectors but other than that it's pretty good for what I need, should suffice for many years to come.
The SD4 was a good cheap charger for the absolute beginner with an RTR and nothing else, after buying the truck for $550 plus an extra battery you've spent $650 NZD so $80 for a charger is a bit easier to pay and it way better than the included charger.
The main problem I had with the SD4 was it defaults to LiPo every time but it did remember what charge rate you had set. To change the settings you have to press and hold these painful buttons, so to change to NiMH it would take about 15 seconds of scrolling through battery types. There are other versions which have slide switches which would be better provided the rest of the charger is the same.
