Recommended replacement for stock BLX electronics

So I've gotten very good at building and upgrading the BLX series, but I haven't had much experience with different brand electronics. I'm building a big rock for jumping and bashing hard. What do you guys recommend instead of the spectrum esc and motor for replacement not so much an upgrade. Thanks.

I installed on my BR a 2050kv combo from spectrum and for.me is.more that good because little truck whit all that powaa,my Teckno MT410 have the same combo and in 6s is just a smile getter

None of the castles combos are cheap..but they are damn good ..

Isnt a 2050kv motor too strong for the 3s line? Or did you also upgrade more inside the car? What about tyres, gearing?

I am newb and I still don't get what happens when a car like BR gets a 2050kv motor.

None of the castles combos are cheap..but they are damn good ..

If they don't burn up that is.
Kidding aside, CC stuff is good. Consider them for Speed running only however. HW fits the bill for bashing, well enough.

The hobby is not just to go out and jumping, bashing and crash,u have to just go out of your mind and do different things that's how u learn how to do other stuff,for me the soldering was the most scare part just thinking in make some popcorn but hey fixing other stuff at home injust did my 2 or 3 soldering jobs for my RC cars and I was surprised whit my self.just go out of the box to have more fun.
My BR I got her on hoons for street,no yet test on the park because winter here in the east coast.#justbashing

If you are thinking about getting a Hobbywing Max10 system, be sure you get the Max10 SCT ESC instead of the regular Max10. The SCT version can handle nearly twice the amperage of the regular Max10.

I have a Castle Copperhead 10 SCT 3200kv system in a rock racer: it is a great system that costs a bit less than a Mamba X. The Copperhead is a sensored system that has smooth starts and great throttle response throughout the throttle range.
