Redcat Wendigo. Figured I would share the mods and upgrades and pics

Well here it is. The beast the legend lol.

First off a little while after I got it . I swapped out the stock brushless system to a Hobbywing max10 sct and a hobbystar 3670 3050kv and a 20t pinion

Then after some driveshaft woes and breaking some pinion shafts I put mip and super shafty driveshafts in it.

This is my favorite truck never had any real problems or break downs until the drive shaft upgrade or degrade from boom racing.

But the mip shafts and stock ring and pinion gears cured that and back to. Running strong.

Now has earthquake wheels. I tried a set of Duratrax Munition tires/wheels but really didn't like the way they looked or fit

Just got one of these. I like it so far, tho it seems to spend alot of time on it's roof. I've only run it on 2s and I'm impressed on how well it climbs and crawls. I was disappointed it didn't come with beadlocks, but I have some coming from Jennys off the Scoutll. Do you have any other recommended upgrades besides the ESC and driveshafts?

I’ve got one, the best mod you can do is to run shorter shocks on the rear! I’ve also fitted a Reefs RC sway bar kit, it takes a bit of modding to fit but also helps the handling loads.....



Its got a Castle MMX and a 1410 3800kv powering it and runs on 3s, it’s a beastly little truck

What wheels did you buy exactly. I bought Gen8 Scout tires/wheels from Jennys, but didn't realize they would be so small. And the wheels don't fit on the front hubs anyway.

The Wendigo uses 2.2 sized wheel vs the Gen8 that is 1.9, the ones on mine are Injora 2.2 beadlocks with 15mm hubs
