Raider Reedy Radon 3000 motor on a Raider mega please help

Hey guys i got a mega raider and i picked up a Reedy Radon 3000 to replace my stock motor and when i got put it on it wasnt alligned with the spur gear the pinion gear was touching the spur to a point where it moved the car and now my spur is messed up and needed to buy a new one

It sounds like you had the mesh too loose.

My spur gear and pinion are touching but wont move the car

Perhaps the mesh is too tight? Can you show us a picture?

Can you roll the car by hand? Does the spur turn when you do so?
Are there any grinding, clicking or other abnormal sounds?
Are you sure the motor works? Does it spin when power is applied?

I found my problem it was the transmission gear cracked
