replacement motor

so i have already had the servo gears strip out and the motor go bad over the weekend, one day apart. I called for a replacement servo and i will call for a warranty replacement of the motor too this week. I would like to keep an extra motor on hand so the car isn't down for weeks on end. Can anyone recommend a replacement motor that is maybe slightly better? This car hasn't been used that much, i feel that the motor and steering servo stripping out already is a bit soon. I'm starting to think i bought a piece of crap.

If you are going to keep it brushed you can buy a traxxas titan motor. It will give you a little more speed and is a better motor.

Does it bolt right up?

Yes. Is a direct replacement, just a tad longer but it fits.

Is that the traxxas 3785? There's a few different models on amazon. Sorry I'm such a n00b.
