Replacing Arrma Slipper Clutch w/ a Traxxas Slipper Clutch

I read a thread a week or so ago where someone had replaced the Arrma clutch with a Traxxas clutch. I swear I "watched" the thread, but it doesn't show up. Can someone point me in the right direction. Not that I don't mind the Arrma clutch, but NO ONE in the Metro-Atlanta area carries anything Arrma and I'm tired of having to always order from Amazon.

Any Associated dealers nearby? I got a STRC layshaft for a Traxxas Slash that uses Associated slipper clutch. Comparing to my Fury parts the associated stuff looks to be compatible

I cannot remember if I have seen this topic here. I know somebody once tried to fit an other brand spur, which was quite a hassle.
