As someone who just fried a full set of brand new electronics and lost about $450 (savox 2290, MMX8s and Reciever) with a stupid wiring mistake, don't risk it! Just send it back and get a new one.

I don't understand why people spend $400 on their electronics and use a $20 battery. The part most likely to burn down your car and home.

I can almost guarantee you that the main leads are not reversed. My guess, one of the balance wires has a bad connection, most likely inside the pack. Return for a refund.

This (ass)(u)(me)s that your charger setup is working with other batteries. A common mistake is that the balance board is plugged incorrectly into the charger.
