Granite Rlaarlo AK917 with Granite 3s electronics?

This is a long shot, but I’ve been offered a cheap Rlaarlo AK917 roller and I have a full set of electrics from a Granite that might fit. Anyone else tried a combo anything like this? Thoughts? Pros/cons? I like the look of the AK917 but I can’t justify buying a new set of electrics or an rtr.

It should be just fine. Actually a lot closer to what Rlaarlo planned for “get up and go” than others here are doing. 3s in the AK917 will still be quite lively, and the electronics will almost certainly run cooler in the Rlaarlo than the Granite.
Most people I’ve seen do builds on them have overpowered the living hell out of them. I’m staying 4s max in my build, but I seriously doubt I’ll ever run it on anything but 2 or 3s.

Not only will it be a good match, it should be relatively quick on that particular setup, how much does the AK917 weigh, if your not looking to break any speed records, should run mid 60's
