Arrma RC's
So, for me it's all about best performance, reliability and cost effectiveness.

I am a test freak, so I do this write up after 100+ packs on this setup. Few months before I did similar text about my previous setup, that was very good, but I wanted to test the limit of this platform.
I think that that this is the right dose of Monster in monster truck and I think that there is no other way to get this level of Monster with this amount of money spent. Anything stock is just a joke compared to this. If you don't go crazy with all alu things that I don't need (I don't go crazy high jums) this setup will end in USD 1.000 ballpark.

So here we go:

Arrma Kraton 6S
Ezrun Max6 V3
TP 4070 1520kv
Alu braces
Alu diff mount
Alu servo mount
Tekno shims for external shiming
Mugen shims for internal shiming
Drill bits for diff pins
Industrial grade hydraulic O rings(for shocks and diffs - way better then stock)
Lithium grease for diff cases
Robinson Racing pinions(TP 4070 will eat anything softer) I use 23T
Indistrial grade bearings(NSK, SKF...) for all 3 diffs, no single rison not to buy them, not so expensive and durable
CC 6,5mm bullet connectors
Larger and heavier battery, because TP 4070 and Max6 are heavy and on the same side, so battery must be 700+ grams to keep balance.
I use 500k in centre, but it's just me, I find it easier to control.
I build my own cap packs, using Nichicon 2200uf caps.

Do internal and external shiming, set diff mash and pinion mash, fill diff boxes with lithium grease and you won't need any of alu stuff (diff boxes, diff cups...)

But! You can't save dog bones, diff end cups, wheels...

This setup will run in good temp range, Max6 can handle this motor on 6S, but it will cog here and there on 8S, I don't run 8S much, it is pointless.

This is a nice setup to learn throttle modulation, as it is a "never full throttle". The amount of power is so incredible, very usable and after short period of adaptation, it is a nice feeling of always present sufficient power. It is a real race car feeling, you have a responsibility, go too hard, for too long and you will brake things.

This setup will increase mass of the truck big time, so, not for big aero anymore.

Above all, it so much fun, RC is all about not having things under control all the time, and this thing challenges all the time. :)

Thank you.
Nice to have them all on one picture for size comparison: BLX 6S, Hobby Star 4092 1480kv(awesome motor, not a single problem) and TP 4070 1520kv.

I run the 1730kv Hobbystar 4092. Perfect for my application.

Perfect! You will be very happy with TP, servicing is super easy, it uses 8x16x5 bearings that are very available and not expensive.
With ESC do you have?

Just be careful with gearing, that motor is very amp thirsty. Max6 will be ok on 6S, with correct gearing and large cap pack. It's good to have drone LiPo alarm for testing, it is super cheap and lets you see if voltage drop is to big. You can set threshold manualy and see if voltage drop is greater then what is acceptable.
