Roll hoop help plz.

How much diff between the outkast (4800015) and the noto (480009) roll hoops. I ended up with the second. Almost looks too big. Like it would be under tension after its mounted. Some help would be . It just doesn't look right imo

I think you may have wanted to get the 4s version and looks like you got the 6s one, unless they are the same? But Amain shows the one you have compatible with the 6s rigs not the 4s so I'd assume the 4s is smaller.

ahh same thing different body. I did not know they had 4s outcast though I thought noto and outcast is 6s only. Wow I'm ashamed lmao Weird how they have a 4s outcast body but not noto like the 6's models.

Sooo I seen what happened. Hobbytown I guess only carries 480009. Shows same hoop for 4s and 6s

You need the 4S version in order to make it work. I cut the posts off that go into the cab of the truck.

I used the plastic "discs" that go between the hoop and the body to line up my screw holes and used a power drill to go straight in after I marked it. I used a drill bit slightly smaller than the screw itself so it'd be snug.

After one side was done, I moved to the other side where I marked and drilled and just used a little bit of pressure to stretch it into place while I screwed it into place. It's a little tight but not too bad. I think it turned out great. I'd definitely suggest getting the double sided button head screws. They do not come with the hoop though.

Appreciate it! I love my Big Rock. It's such a blast to drive and fun to work on. You need TDR705038. That is the "sacrificial" screw set you need. It has a hex on the top and bottom so if they get worn out and need to be replaced, you can remove them by using a hex on the bottom of the screws.

Those screws were designed for the hoop and come on the Outcast normally. But if you buy it as an option piece, it's just the hoop and the mounts. You need m3x16mm screws to mount it. Just remembered I didn't mention that and it's important! I bought some from my local hardware store and they weren't easy to find in the bins. Lol
