My buddies track is great, but my Typhon seems to bounce around, and not stay planted and tends to fishtail all over. My other cars do just fine though.

the track is very rough, and will always be that way, I’m thinking about lightening the springs and going to 80 wt shock oil. I’m curious what people think will help keep a light weight car planted and stable.

I feel like thick oil with soft springs isn’t going to work well together. Soft and light is what I would assume would work best. 30W and soft springs maybe?

Stock is 550cst if I'm not mistaken, so you need thinner than that.

Try moving your shocks to the inner holes on the towers, that should soften them up a bit and make them more progressive. Also maybe set as much droop as you can (while keeping the shock rod ends safe) ...
