Arrma RC's
  1. Typhon 6s
Which ones will be better to use for my kraton 6s exb. I am breaking 2 or 3 stock arms every weekend, but I'm doing jump after jump and sometimes I don't land perfect. I have not used any rpm a arms in a long time and do not know how they will hold up, what's your imput for the ones that have used them.

That's a lot of arms. I have several 6s Arrma bashers. My Kraton has a full set of RPM arms. I've sent it pretty hard, a few big air jumps, 10-15 feet, it's also nearly 14 pounds with the battery. They flex a lot. Never broken one. IMO the Arrma arms are stronger, & flex less. The RPM flex may have saved me a few times on bad landings. But- sacrifice traction, because they flex. It acts kinda soupy or derpy.

Thanks,I usually jump between 20 and 30 ft high that's why I am wondering how they would hold up

stock EXB arms

You just need more practice at better landings.
Definitely, the ramp i built was a little steep at the top so today I trimmed it some and of ccourse went back out to try and let of a half second early on a triple backflip and broke yet another a arm. Fun,fun, fix again.

Considering how the Arrma arms are doing, the RPM ones are worth a shot.

In my experience stock are better but I can’t be arsed with the spacers in the front upper arms so I like to run the RPM upper arms and (from what Ive seen) you can only buy upper and lower arms so just run the lower arms too.

I have heard boiling the stock arms for 3-4 minutes helps.
No idea if it actually works, but, I have heard it helps soften them up a little bit and make them more durable.

Have also heard Stock arms are much better than RPM.

I have the newer rpm arms on one of my kraton's. when I first put them on I broke one or two of the rear ones at the back of the arm but after replacing them a few years ago they've been fine must be all the wd40 that's been on them :) but I've had more luck with stock arms to be honest

The real answer to your question is learn how to level off your truck before it lands. Learning how to make subtle changes in your truck's stance in the air isn't easy or fast, it takes a lot of practice. In the end that's the real answer and it's worth the effort to learn. There's a learning curve to this so start with a small jump, there will be lots of nose and tail landings in the beginning.

jump as high as you can then you have loads of time for in air corrections small jumps are what break things. I lace my suspension arms in wd40 when there new don't no if it does anything been doing it for years

I put on a set of rpms and it lasted the longest so far, even doing triples and not always landing right. Then I hit the side of the ramp with half my truck which put it in a fast spiral spin only a few feet in the air and did all this damage, a arm, shock shaft, outdrive cup etc,go figure, but I had a lot of fun, lol. Time to fix it and do it again.
