Hi guys,

I've just received a Granite for Christmas....very stoked.
I read that I have to run the motor in, low speed for 3 full batteries. Is this right. I've just got the standard battery etc. No upgrades yet. TIA

for brushed motors...yes...allows the brushes to seat....for brushless motors...no run in is needed...no bushes to seat.....

running in a few batteries will also help the battery output...meaning...after a few cycles...the batteries tend to wake up a bit...

Brushed tuning motors you can better run in it you put them in distilled water.
Some good chargers have a special program for it. But after that you have to make a good service at the bearings!!!
If you are using brushless, forget all about "running in".
The other reason to make this suggestion from the manufacture is that the other movable parts can run in.
Same suggestion in the manual of mine Big Rock...
