I've been hunting for new wheels/tires for my new Senton BLX 4x4 3S. Has anyone used the Pro-Line Removable Hex system? It looks like it is more for a Monster Truck design since it supports the 2.8 wheel size. Since I'm new to the hobby I'm not sure if my statement is accurate.

Looks like I would get the following:

https://www.prolineracing.com/wheels/raid-2.8-black-6x30-removable-hex-wheels.asp

But then none of the 2.2 tires would fit on the wheel.

And I'm left with a Monster Truck look and also needing to cut the body, is this true?

I'm confused since they mention it fits the Senton, I guess it fits the 14mm hex. But, it does not mention that the wheel/tire is much larger than stock.

See the system here:

Proline hasn't come out with a 6x30 raid wheel for 2.2 SC yet but supposedly one is coming soon. You'd have to pair that with the adapters for SC raid wheels so the offset doesn't poke out too much.

The 2.8 stuff you linked are MT sized so those adapters and wheels will fit the senton yes, but you'd be a monster senton setup and would need to raise the body for clearance and/or cut the wheel wells to be bigger.

Here is my experience with these wheels with lp trenchers. I will add that they offer only 2 offset variants of the 14mm inserts. 9 and 19mm if I remember correctly. I bought both and found that the raids will rub unless you use the longer of the 2. The lp tires diameter are 2 mm larger than stock and imo did not give it that much of a monster truck look. They are wider but I didn’t hate the look and added stability.

Yep, all makes sense now. I just wanted confirmation.
Although there is a reference that the 2.8 ST is a smaller profile vs the MT. And these reference ST and was wondering if they would also be too large.
But since they are 5.3 it seems like they would be MT style.
Tire Diameter:5.3 in. (134.1mm)

Yes def larger. Stock is 4inches. Check out st variants of 14mm duratrax wheels. May have luck there as well. See horizon for specs as their main site is outdated and crap to navigate.

I'll post my findings since I'm assuming there are others that run short course trucks. I'm getting ready to test out a new category that combines pavement and dirt for SC trucks, kinda like the old supermoto bikes back in the day.

this is what the 2.8 badlands with the raid wheels look like on my senton. If you decide on 2.8s rather than waiting for a 2.2 version, just make sure to use the longer included offset. Other than that, they work perfectly, all I had to do was trim the body a little bit, as seen in the attachment

"Pro-Line is proud to introduce a true next-generation Short Course wheel design the Raid 2.2"/3.0" Removable Hex Wheel"
Has anyone tried their Raid 2.2"/3.0" wheels on a stock Senton 3S Blx? On their pre-mounted 2.2"/3.0" wheels with their 14mm Hex i had a few questions. Thanks in advance.

For a bone stock Senton 3S Blx V3, is their any body rub with their premouned tire/Raid wheel system? I noticed some tires are over the spec size of the stock senton wheel/tire.
If no body rub, then what proline 14 hex adapters are needed 9 or 19mm?
Anyone know if the proline pre-mounted 2.2"/3.0" paddle tires clear the body on a stock senton 3s Blx?

I've destroyed LOTS OF TIRES WITH SENTON$$$$$$$over 10 packs throu these no issues even on senton 6s with 20t.ive ran 60mph down road with them.ZERO ISSUES SO FAR.could this be the first set to go to the end????tired of wasting my $$$$.got another set ordered.17mm only 4.40. (117mm) tall but highly advise for senton till something better comes along.nothing worst than spending 80$+- on a set that don't even wear quarter the way down before on tire flys apart then you 3 almost new tires.proline badlands mx m2s
