Kraton Safe-D Pinion on Older Motor?

Does anyone know if the new V3 Safe-D pinion will fit a Kraton 4s motor without modification?

No, you will need to take down the end of the shaft to the flat.. the older motors don't have the flat machined the whole length..?

I found the same thing with a few motors I tried.

Thanks! I ordered a 15T and 20T with the standard round bore. I couldn’t find much information on doing speed runs with the K4S, so I am going to see how long it can run the 20T in a parking lot before getting too hot.
