Arrma RC's
  1. Granite
Hi,
Im about to get my 10y old first time Arrma Giant ready to rock after unbox at Christmas day, but I have a problem...

I am not able to sync or bind or tx/rx the transmitter with the reiciver. There must be heaps of videos or entries in forum but i cant find any showing or telling how to do this.

User manual:

1. Remove receiver box lid.
No lid. I just cant see what this is about! I see orange box with the 2 setting jumper plugs, and a led down on the electronics board.
2. Press an hold bind button
Picture shows a paperclip going into a tiny hole to press and hold that button. I can not find that hole, so no way to paperclip a button!
3. Switch on car
4. Receiver led will blink.
Yes, it does, but with step 2 not happening, it just keeps blinking, no change when transmitter is turned on - yes, led on tx is on.

Where can I find the 'bind button' ?
Has there been in change in the bind procedure?

Any video or guidance would be appreciated!!!
Thanks,
Adzy

Can you post pics of the receiver? Which exact model is it?

Thanks Sledghog.. pictures attached:

- sticker on front of box
- top view: blinking LED is in gap under the 2 setting straps.
- Model is ARMA GRANITE Brushed. Model # AR102657 (as on invoice and pic)

You shouldn’t need to bind them, they should be good to go out of the box.

Thanks Stuart.. That would make sense without having the binding button. Rx just keep blinking.
Tactic Transmitter is a TTX300. Could there be a trick i.e. hold throttle for 10 second to bind fist time?

Receiver is under esc (the esc is the orange box with the jumper plug settings)

Thanks tjf,

Not for this model I think.. Orange box is screwed on frame, battery right below.
Attached: took pic when led was on (blinking)

Okay.,. that big black box right behind the esc... that's your receiver box... when you open that up you should see the receiver and the button you need.

Absolutely correct, picture of specific model helps immensely. Hopefully you get it working, you will both love it.

YEEJ.. that's where it was hiding! Followed procedure.. click beep.. done.
Have to say.. not very clear in description. To confuse the Russians I guess..

One quick question.. I understand the strappings for different option.. Just go for defaults to begin with?

Thanks all in this thread, and a Merry Christmas!
