Simple velcro on bottom edge of body and reverse velcro on edge of chassis.

@cstac Have you notice any airflow issues with this method?

No at least not yet. I'm only running 4s. Haven't raced it yet just bashing. However the motor isn't even remotely hot to the touch. Checking it with heat gun was only around 100. But I have already been thinking of making cut outs in the body probably towards the back where the body kinda has step downs.
 
Did you keep the roll cage? not even sure if you have a roll cage in that car. I know mine ends up on the roof here and there. I could see the plus side of no body clips, and getting rid of the mounts.

Typhons don't have room cage. Here are pics of places I'm thinking about and how I duct taped the underside of body for durability.
