First and foremost- Thank you to the guys on here who gave me some feedback on my prior post which was in regards to my issues with the 15t and 26t pinion. Since then I’ve installed the adjustable motor mount, threw in a 23t pinion by robinson racing, and installed the hobbystar 3670 3050kv brushless motor in my senton 3s. This is the same motor from rich duperbash’s senton 3s on YouTube and I can vouch that this motor is indeed awesome lol. This motor & gearing set up, combined with the granite tires & a 3s 75c powerhobby Lipo shows impressive torque gains, higher top end speed, and safe motor temps when running on the street, compared to the stock 20t pinion/3200kv motor (which obviously gets toasty as is, especially without downsizing to a 15t pinion on bigger tires). It WILL fly if you’re running the car with the stock shell but I did trim up the rear bumper, added a wheelie bar from the typhoon 3s, and lowered it to fix that issue. Here are some pictures of the car as of now ??

I've always said the monster senton is the best looking Arrma! Looks so sweet with the leds, what ones are they, they look really bright?

Did you say you're running 23t with granite tyres? Interested to see how that goes ?

Much appreciated & I agree!! My brother has the outcast & notorious but we both agree that the senton is eye candy on the monster set up.

The led front and rear that are attached to the bumpers are from a seller on eBay known as polocreations. It comes with a controller that allows you to select different flashing modes and different brightness levels.

I’ll post a video of some speed runs to give you a look of the car with the pinion and granite tires ??

That's awesome cheers! Look forward to seeing her run!! ?

Nice! We have very similar builds. I’m still running the 15t pinion with that same motor, but I’m looking at the 20t on my workbench haha. I’ve left punch level at 1 for my son and it’s still so dang torquey. Good to know you’ve had a good experience so far when stepping up the pinion size.

This is bad! You're so making me want to build a monster senton!! Took enough to get the Typhon past my missus... ?

I still have the 15t pinion laying around and I always wondered how torquey it would be on that set up ? My hopes and prayers go out to your tires hahah. I know you’re son is having a blast with it ??

Come join the crew haha! I just came across a gentleman on YouTube that hit 72 mph with the same motor set up but on 4s.. so part of me wishes I had the typhon platform to satisfy my need for speed ??‍♂️ Let’s trade! ?
