My stock Granite did. Only at like 0-10% throttle. Then it would take off. I hated it, so switched to a sensored motor and ESC.
I put the stock Granite BLX 100 and 3200kv in my son's Typhon in my brushless conversion, and no cogging at all. Just the weight and tire size does it.

great advise,i was thinking in vorteks esc and motor because i don't hear nobody whit problems on that one.thanks man

Castle systems are sensored on all the Mamba X line. I have a Mamba X and 2400kv motor. I love it. Lots of power, and can crawl at 1mph, roll on throttle at any speed and it just takes off smooth as butter.
