Senton Senton 4x4 top speed

I have a Senton 4x4 (the cheap one with the brushed motor). Arrma claims that it will go 30 MPH, but I'm only getting around 20 MPH (with stock battery or 2s lipo). This guy did some speed tests too and only got 19 MPH:

Is the truck really 10 MPH slower than Arrma claims? I know many traxxas vehicles go much slower than they suggest unless you change the gearing, but they typically include the gear that makes the car go as fast as its advertised to go. I don't see any included gears with my Senton. Am I missing something?

Nope .... 20mph stock is right. Will be the same whether NiMH or Lipo

Does Arrma advertise a top speed that is 50% faster than actual on all their cars? I'm very unimpressed with the speed of this vehicle.

Not sure about all of the Arrma vehicles but the 6s BLX versions meet or exceed their advertised mph with the optional pinion that's provided

Right .... those speeds advertised are with options ... such as the 27t pinion on the MEGA series.

They are just doing what Traxxas does. I know the stock trucks can't be 30mph. I'm doing 27mph with 3000kv, 22t and 2s.
