Senton Senton 6s roller has arrived. The build begins

Thanks to my man @Ivgot2manyRC i finally have a replacement to my senton 6s that was lost in the house fire almost a year ago! Among everything else we’ve ever owned that perished that evening my senton was my first arrma and my most treasured outlet or therapy lol. Being that it is discontinued I thought I’d never own one again or have to piece one together in any spare time and spare funds I could find. My boy @Ivgot2manyRC , mr arrma himself took it as a personal challenge to find one for me and one for him! He’s an eBay master and found me this sweet clean unmolested stock roller!! Well she finally arrived at my doorstep today!!

after full inspection of the roller I am very pleased on how clean and unused she is!! I can count the scraps on the chasis on one hand! I could tell right away this thing has never seen the dirt or grass!! Pavement only!
all bearings in perfect condition! The body is perfect! Didn’t come w sidewinders but those are on order. I am going to attempt to recreate the senton I had this time last year!! Thanks again mike!! Hope to see you soon!

Then tore her down and started building!

gonna try out the blx w the firma geared pretty aggressively 20/46 and go from there. My
Previous senton was a freak running mxl6s esc w vanguard 2200kv w 22/38(spool) but we will work our way up to that;-).
Oh and if anyone has a decal sheet for the “squid” body please let me know. It was an eBay find I picked up a while back but didn’t come w the original decals! Fml.
If someone knows where decals can be had plz hit me

Side note, is it bad to leave lipo batteries in lipo safe bag outside in freezing cold!? I hate bringing them in the house..

Get a heating pad to wrap around the lipo bag. I believe it was @suchtragedy who mentioned it before. Get ones made to keep plants warm.

Like a thermal pad or electrical heating pad? I almost lost me and my family in a house fire last December not tryin to have any additional risks in the house. My van is my temp arrma shop while we waiting for our new home lol

Sorry about your house fire. My parents went through one and it was just devastating, especially for my mom. Sorry you lost your first RC car, hopefully you dress this one up the way that you want as a nice substitute. It is getting harder and harder to find the Senton 6S, glad you found one.

Sum female dog! Letme get those wheels boss!! Took my racks off so I didn’t have to register as comm vehicle. I can take her anywhere in this state now. Certain highways are considered parkways and restrict commercial vehicles. I do like having my side door windows since this is like driving a limo or a bus lol

Hell yea. My chevy w dual sides had short shelves and the floor box lol. There were times I’d find myself reaching for the door handle on that side since I’ve had the Savana lol. I’m always looking for the quigly 4x4 w the dura Max!! Big $$$.

Cant hurt to overkill safety. The friend who got me into this uses a fireproof portfolio locker that he places lipo bags with batteries in them inside and locks(keep kids out).
I did my own version; batteries in Lipo bag placed inside a 13x10 steel box I made in shop class 24 years ago. Being paranoid, I also used up some leftover tubes of fire rated caulking that I troweled around the inside.

Hell ya man!!! You’re so welcome, I’m glad I could help you replace one thing ya lost. I’m gonna miss her but she went too a good home plus if it wasn’t for @MFM i wouldn’t have even been into the Arrma rigs like I am. He’s always answering my stupid questions everyday or listens to my ideas because I’m always doing something.
