Arrma RC's
  1. Senton 6s
Hi y'all

I'm interested in updating the body on my Senton. I love everything about this vehicle, but my stock body is slowly disintegrating, and I'd like a slighly more scale look.

I love the work some members have done with the Proline Bronco - a truly sexy RC body. I've never painted a body however and I'm certain I'd make a mess of it. I'd almost certainly screw up cutting wheel arches also.

I've read that the Parma muscle bodies are a good fit also, but I face the same issue of not being confident painting or cutting a clear body.

Proline sell this truly beautiful looking body -

https://www.prolineracing.com/bodie...-2017-ford-f-150-raptor-true-scale-body-gray/

I've emailed Arrma to ask if it fits - they were unsure and said I should ask Proline. I've emailed them but have not heard back...

Has anyone used the Proline pre-cut/pre-painted Ford Raptop with the Arrma Senton?

Better yet, do you have some photos you could show me?

:)

I do know that the slash and Senton are really close to the same wheelbase and the post holes line up almost perfect, I used a precut body from a different project and it fit right on my Senton. If you're gonna do it yourself its not that hard just make sure you have good curved and straight scissors. I just did my first body for my daughters desc410r cutting it was easy, painting takes patience. Good luck and I hope you can get the answers you need.

Hey thanks for your reply :)

Been watching a few youtubes on how to get the painting job done - I know I'd enjoy the process and feel better about bragging about a paint job I did rather than having a sweet lid but not be able to claim credit...

The biggest question is Bronco or Raptor?

They are both so god damn sexy!

Looks great - be a very mean bug riding dirty with a Senton under the lid!

Have you cut holes for the body posts? Or are you using some other kind of ingenious (and hidden) method to keep that lid in place?

I have body post holes. Those pictures were taken before the body was mounted. Front post lined up perfect but for the rear I had to custom make new post. I went to home depot RC parts.......lol, and bought an aluminum rod, cut it, bent it to shape, drilled holes to mount to shock towers in place of originals and drilled holes for body clips. Here's a couple of pictures of it mounted and a picture of my custom mounts, the car fuel line is for body stops.........lol.

I did a F150 Raptor true scale on my Senton. It fits on the chassis stock but you will have to raise the front mijntsvto the highest point or as I have done get a proline extension mount (slash 4wd version) and just carve them diwn to fit in the round holes. I had to trim just a little bit of the wheel arches at the rear and the rearmost end of the front arch. I took all the fairing and crap out of the middle of the truck and some stuff of the rear bumper. I think it looks sweet.

Hi, I have for my Senton the Proline 1981 Ford Bronco body and the Desert Raid body. (look here)
Their dimensions are almost equal to the pre-cut True Scale Ford F-150 body. They all fit very well on the Senton.

@BennyMac

Very nice body. Good work and cool color. What wheels do you have?

I have done both the proline Toyota Tundra wich fits perfectly and the proline bronco with some custom mounts I made!!

Did you have to remove anything from the stock senton set up for the tundra body? I am thinking of getting this body for my senton conversion wondering I’d I can still use inside tower and roll cage?
