Senton ESC upgrade

Hey seen others running 150amp on stock Motor and claiming run 4s on it.
Found Jennys Spectrum 150 for $82.00
Any feedback or suggestions. Thank you and Happy 2022!

The Firma150 from JennysRC is a pretty good ESC. I have one in my Big Rock and run it on 4s with a 3670/2650kv motor. The stock 3660/3200kv Spektrum motor is only rated to run 3s. People have run it on 4s but it's not really reccommended. It will heat up too fast. But give it a shot if you want. Worst case you will have to get a new motor. I got a Surpass Hobby motor from Amazon for $30 and it runs great on 4s with the Firma150.

Yea you should def upgrade your motor if gonna run 4s.

As others have said, you will burn your motor up at some point. Depending on how you drive, it could be the first time on 4s or it could last a while. If it's me, replace the ESC, have fun on 4s, and replace the motor when the stock one goes.
