Those that have used the Pro DMC hex adapters know they are loose fitting. I was able to get rid of most of the slop with a piece of shrink tubing. I found some stainless tubing I will make better spacers from.
I will make better spacers from this;
With out any modification, the axle stub is loose in the end of the hex, so the hex rocks a bit;
You can see that the hex is only supported by the short 6mm section of axle, where the pin goes thru. I plan to make a 6mm od spacer that fits over the 4mm axle stub, butting up against the 5mm step section;
For now, shrink tubing seems to fill the gap at the tip of the axle stub where it goes thru the smaller opening just on the end of the hex;
You can see the shrink tubing fills the gap ias it protrudes thru the end of the hex;
It looks like it’s on Donks;
