Senton Senton motor mount problems

I've been trying to install the motor mount on my senton 4x4 but it won't go in all the way. Maybe a few mm short of clicking in.

I'm trying to upgrade the entire spur gear/clutch assembly as well as the 15t pinion from the senton blx since my senton has a traxxas velineon installed.

Placing the motor into the 15t holes on the mount seems super tight, I can get it to work a bit better with other combinations. No matter What I try though I cant get the entire assembly back into the car.

Do I need to buy the aluminum motor mount or is there something else I can try?

Get the BLX motor mount power module assy the one for the MEGA is not the same. Like one from Jenny's RC https://jennysrc.com/collections/ar...num-red-mount-motor-granite-big-rock-ar102668. The MEGA has a molded in pre-drilled holes in the plastic case itself setup for 48p not the same as 32p (BLX).
