On December 27th I purchased 2x Senton 3S BLX's from the LHS. One for me and one for the 12 year old.

Pretty sure it was also December 27th when I broke my first RC part.

The forum and Jenny's makes me feel comfortable doing a Big Rock conversion:

You're all caught up now!

There was a snow pile on the corner of my street that made a nice ramp so I was sending this guy 10 ft in the air. So much fun!!! The neighbors were outside watching me having fun with it, too. After 2 packs I broke the shock tower. Time to upgrade some stuff!

The gearbox has a metal spur gear and an M2C motor mount. I have the M2C chassis block that bolts onto the motor mount as well.

Of course, since we're taking apart the rear-end, I also decided to upgrade the yolk to the HR aluminum one.

Upgrade time :sneaky:. I see your cat approves theSenton.
BTW, your cat
despicable me GIF
He is so incredibly fluffy :D :D

You got to be careful because your also adding weight and extra weight means more weight falling on those other parts that are not upgraded. I have left both mine stock besides pro-line shocks, tires and wheels and the RPM a arms. I bash mine hard and yes I have broke stock shocks, 1 stock a-arm and 1 hub. They are cheap to replace and I think keeping it light has helped. Just my opinion and to each there own.

Didn’t make it through an entire pack today before realizing this.

To be honest I am not sure how this happened:

The drive shaft going into the rear end was also destroyed. Who knows what else.

All it takes is one small crack and then a bad landing or heavy stress.
This one blew apart while on a straight run on a grass field. The body pins were the only thing holding it together.

Best I can tell is it suffered a stress crack on a previous run when it flipped.
This was a brand new chassis on its second run of the day.
