The latter servo savers are non adjustable - but I’ve never stripped out a servo arm even on adjustable servo savers cranked all the way down.

First make sure the servo saver is not frozen. A buddy had a similar thing happen and after checking for binding steering linkages discovered the servo saver does not move. After fixing that, get a servo arm that has a locking screw to make sure it will not jump the splinesWhat do you think about this?? I can't find the solution!!
