Hi,

In the process of planning an EXB build, and will most likely go with a DS3225 25kg servo.

It looks like the EXB is supplied with a 23T horn

Just wondering if the 25t servo horn that the DS3225 is supplied with can be used instead of the 23t horn supplied with the EXB, or is there a 23t version of this servo that others use or an alternative servo horn that I will need to source?

Apologies for the noob question, I'm new to this ;)

TIA,
Jonty

You can get a 25T version of the Arrma servo horn: https://www.arrma-rc.com/part/AR340061

Or use the hot-racing setup: https://hot-racing.com/?partnumber=AON48SH25;c=938

Some on this board have also mentioned that this works, but I haven't tried it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Z1ZV1L5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Thank you!

Also just came across this thread, which answered my question too:

Unfortunately the Hot Racing parts don't seem to be available in Australia, and become pricey if shipped from US.

I've come across a few options from GPM, which arae available at a good price locally:

Seem to fit ok:

Any feedback on these appreciated.

This post helps about as much as the last 1 I made here. 😆.

Feedback: Looks very nice! Gpm is a good brand. All I got. 🤷

I think the first one is OK. The second and third look like they have servo savers built into the horns. Your EXB already has a servo saver so you don't need a second one.

I use the same servo on my EXB. It came with a 23T and I have the DS3225 but I wanted the aluminum HR setup for the look.

Using the servo DS3225 arm some shims or washers would be needed to get it level which is possible. Second pic it is disconnected from the servo.

Used the HR but I still needed to add a shim to level it out
