Cool, thank you I found a 45 KG servo for like 35 bucks figured hell even if the torque is lied about still gotta be better than the 665 stock servoIt doesn’t matter. Either one will work fine since you’ll be asking it to turn less than 180 degrees.
Almost anything is better than stockCool, thank you I found a 45 KG servo for like 35 bucks figured hell even if the torque is lied about still gotta be better than the 665 stock servo
That 665 servo is actually pretty good. I wouldn’t replace it with an Amazon cheapo.Cool, thank you I found a 45 KG servo for like 35 bucks figured hell even if the torque is lied about still gotta be better than the 665 stock servo
It poop the bed on me that’s the only reason why I’m replacing it as of right now I took the stock one out of my Mojave and put it in my Kraton so I can play with i in the Nice weather. That 665 servo is actually pretty good. I wouldn’t replace it with an Amazon cheapo.
Either keep it or buy a nice $100+ servo IMO.
Haven’t tried that DS3245 servo, but I have several DS3235 Pro (blue) and DS3230 Pro (red). The blue is better and it can also handle 7.4 and 8.4v, whereas the red one has a max of 6.8v.This is what I’m looking at

+ SendIt RC. This thing is a top-tier sleeper:Agfrc, reefs, perfect pass, protek, savox. All pretty good brands.
Ought to do well. 45kg at 7.4v & 0.13 transit speed. Great price! This is what I’m looking at

After using a handful of DS servos, I am very skeptical of their listed specs and have sworn not to buy them again.Ought to do well. 45kg at 7.4v & 0.13 transit speed. Great price!
I've not had good luck with the DS3235. Too slow. Never tried a 3245. I like the Power HD 40kg(at 8.4v) servo, all red full aluminum case. 35kg at 7.4v & 0.12 transit speed. Not sure which

Did you also try the Pro version? I found it quite a bit faster.I've not had good luck with the DS3235. Too slow. Never tried a 3245. I like the Power HD 40kg(at 8.4v) servo, all red full aluminum case. 35kg at 7.4v & 0.12 transit speed.
I agree. Starting out, they are good & save some coin. The Power HD red servo I use the most is, um, about 60 bucks iircAfter using a handful of DS servos, I am very skeptical of their listed specs and have sworn not to buy them again.
No! I didn't know there was a PRO one. Cool. The DS servos are good servos, for the price. I have 3 of them. Two DS3235 & A DS3225.Did you also try the Pro version? I found it quite a bit faster.
I think you'll be good dude. I've never had a DS fail me. And they are a great price. And either rig- Mojave or Kraton, should power them nice!Well, I saw the reviews on that 45 one didn’t look too bad. I gave it a shot. That’s the worst thing can happen. I waste 35 bucks or whatever it was mean at least until I get a little bit better at bashing around Before I go buy in those hundred plus dollar ones. I’ll probably end up ordering it this weekend and then try it out.
