  1. Kraton 6s
Hey everyone, currently want to upgrade servo as current one decided to die on my kraton 6s looking at the following 3 options.

https://hobbiesdirect.com.au/Savox-Standard-25kg-7.4v-Metal-Geared-Servo-SV-1271SG

https://hobbiesdirect.com.au/Savox-Standard-30kg-Metal-Geared-Waterproof-Servo-SA-1283SG

https://hobbiesdirect.com.au/Power-HD-Standard-DW-25LV-25kg-Metal-Geared-Waterproof-Servo-DW-25LV

leaning more towards the power HD low voltage but not sure if the savox 30kg would be better since also waterproof but might drain more battery being high voltage?.

also wondering would be a good servo mount upgrade 1 piece or 4 piece? links appreciated.

It will only pull as much juice as your bec will allow. Most esc voltage is 6.0. High voltage only mean it can run off 7.4-8.0+ volts if your esc will put that out or you have an external bec that puts out 7.4+ volts. They really don’t effect battery life. You don’t need those expensive servos you can get a ds3218 25kg for 20$ that will work great. Unless you just wanna spend the money.

hmmmm okay thank you @Outcastblxnut will keep researching don't think many options being in australia prices also stupid here. the kraton doesn't come standard with a Bec does it? I was also looking into glitch busters.

Just want something really good that will last long and has snappy steering response than the stock sluggish ones.

ah okay is BEC upgrade easy to do for 7.4V? or should I just pay the extra and order that power HD 25kg low voltage?

also ordered

GKA 1 piece tall aluminum servo mount
MIP metric driver set
stainless steel screw kit
plaig premium v2 bearing kit
few more spare parts / bumpers.

Yeah it’s fairly easy lots of YouTube vids. You can use any one at 6v just not gonna reach full potential including the power hd
I’d get the 20$ ds3218 I mentioned earlier
