Although my dad and I had our serious differences and friction. I could deal with them.
I just wished he would have spent more time with our girls..
I don't know if it was a cultural thing or some ancient tradition or what..
Whatever it was I really couldn't understand why he didn't 'want to' spend the time to enjoy all the fun and silly energies our girls could have shared with him.

All the Laughter and Joys he would have experienced...
My girls are a real hoot ,at times.

That is my greatest regret.

To Everyone,
Thank you all for such kind words and support in these tough times.
It has been very difficult for the family and we really appreciate all your prayers.

This past weekend I took my family (along with another close friends and their kiddos) out to a short camping trip, out to a beautiful lake and broke the news that grandpa had passed.. Our girls took it surprisingly well. I'm not really sure they completely comprehend the situation, but I think/hope they will ,eventually.

& I think my father would have loved this lake...

Rest in Peace -Dad
