Pretty good deal IMO, you saved about $200-$250 over the V2. Besides, You can always upgrade things like electronics later on down the line if you ever feel the need to. I'm still running on stock V1 electronics and im happy. You're gonna love it that thing, congrats
The kaiju is pretty sweet my buddy used to bring his to bash and we’d swap rigs and I liked it turns out he sold it to one of our co workers and he said he wrecked it so I’m hoping to get it cheap. He said he doesn’t want to fool with it. Everything has a "right price". I don't think the kaiju is worth it at $500 or whatever the msrp is nowadays. Yeah 350$ is definitely reasonable opposed to $500
. I could possibly see myself doing the same but I’ve got a lot of Christmas to get for my two boys. But after Christmas……

Cool, the Kaiju is a solid rig for me. I've had alot of fun with mine over the last 3 years. Started as an OG, now an EXT. I don't feel like it's really worth $500 when a K6 can be had for about the same. K6 and Kaiju are quite different trucks though. So one may fit better than the other depending on what one wants to do with it.

Funny!! I love getting brand lovers going too!The hate on RC brands is dumb. I know I go on about Traxxas but that's mostly because I like watching Traxxies get their panties in a twist. But Redcats are pretty solid. Sure the electronics are questionable but which brand's isn't? My old Blackout served as a great learner towards handling and maintenance to me, my son, and my step son. It went from brushed/nihm powered to brushless/2 and 3 cell lipo powered. It was even modded into a weird looking independant suspension but actually a decently competent crawler powered by a 1080/27t HH Trailmaster. And the mod was so simple, notches cut in the chassis to allow the lower suspension arms more travel and overall higher ground clearance. And the price point is perfect to bring more people into this hobby.⁵
