I know most of you hate Redcat ;) but they are 25% off at Tower right (and I think also at redcats website). Basically their entire inventory.

I haven't verified whether Redcat site is running the same sale or not but, if they are, tax free from AZ!!👌👊🍻
I have heard nothing but regrets from the machete, but maybe you’ll have a different experience 🤷‍♂️.
Yeah, it's been a bit of a disappointment from what I've "heard" too. But, @$299, not so bad maybe? Me? Kaiju EXT @$349 is a much better buy.😎
Eh, disregard the tax free part..not on sale at Redcat, just Tower.

The kaiju is pretty sweet my buddy used to bring his to bash and we’d swap rigs and I liked it turns out he sold it to one of our co workers and he said he wrecked it so I’m hoping to get it cheap. He said he doesn’t want to fool with it. I offered to help fix it,but I think he got burnout on the hobby quick…hoping to grab it for 200 if it’s not too bad.🤙

Everything has a "right price". I don't think the kaiju is worth it at $500 or whatever the msrp is nowadays. But for sure when I picked up a brand new one close to $300 about a year ago, it was definitely worth it. $350 is tempting for me to buy a new one and use the old one as spare parts!!

Yeah 350$ is definitely reasonable opposed to $500🤙😂. I could possibly see myself doing the same but I’ve got a lot of Christmas to get for my two boys. But after Christmas…… 😂👌

Pretty good deal IMO, you saved about $200-$250 over the V2. Besides, You can always upgrade things like electronics later on down the line if you ever feel the need to. I'm still running on stock V1 electronics and im happy. You're gonna love it that thing, congrats 👏
Thanks! I actually have brand new take offs from a v2 8s on standby thanks to @GNT1 😁
So yeah, I have a plan😉
V1 electronics will likely end up in my Xmaxx and v2 parts will go into the K8.
Gotta at least try stock first though. Pretty stoked!😁🍻

Cool, the Kaiju is a solid rig for me. I've had alot of fun with mine over the last 3 years. Started as an OG, now an EXT. I don't feel like it's really worth $500 when a K6 can be had for about the same. But at $350, alot of bang for the buck. 👍 K6 and Kaiju are quite different trucks though. So one may fit better than the other depending on what one wants to do with it.

The hate on RC brands is dumb. I know I go on about Traxxas but that's mostly because I like watching Traxxies get their panties in a twist. But Redcats are pretty solid. Sure the electronics are questionable but which brand's isn't? My old Blackout served as a great learner towards handling and maintenance to me, my son, and my step son. It went from brushed/nihm powered to brushless/2 and 3 cell lipo powered. It was even modded into a weird looking independant suspension but actually a decently competent crawler powered by a 1080/27t HH Trailmaster. And the mod was so simple, notches cut in the chassis to allow the lower suspension arms more travel and overall higher ground clearance. And the price point is perfect to bring more people into this hobby.⁵
Damn, I really need those gift cards now! 😆

Funny!! I love getting brand lovers going too!🤣
I have to say, the Kaiju has great electronics IMO. Sure the motor is actually a buggy size, but man, that stuff just keeps on running!! No complaints here. Other RC models not so much, but Kaiju and Machete are well equipped for rtr's I feel.
