I have the I think the v2? Version? 2016 model kraton and the 2018 talion,,,,I going to shim the diffs,,,which shims do I use? Do all 3 diffs in these units use the same ones? I have minor slop going on and want to catch before it worsens. Thanks guys.....

The Mugen shim set is the way to go. All three diffs use the same shims.

Keep in mind, the little ones in this kit are twice as thick as the factory shims .006 thousandths vs .012 thousandths. I just replace all 4 with these and put the diff back together. Or place one big one under one of the big sun gears. I don't like to smash the gears completely together, but everyone is different.

Mugen kit. https://www.amainhobbies.com/mugen-seiki-differential-washer-set-muge0206/p3241

Replacement O-rings if you can find them.. https://www.amainhobbies.com/arrma-oring-p5-4.5x1.5mm-red-4-ara716011/p409561

HPI shims to shim over the entire diff inside the diff housing.. (crown and pinon backlash) https://www.amainhobbies.com/hpi-washer-13x16x0.2mm-10-hpi86598/p6677

Shims for the pinion inside the housing if you want. https://www.amainhobbies.com/kyosho-8x10mm-shim-set-10-kyo96644/p4067

That should cover ya.

I followed the video by @Thomas P . I believe it is a sticky in the drivetrain forum. The video is for a SENTON, but it's the same diff. I used the Mugen Shims as was said above.

Since the mugen shim kit is sold out everywhere, anyone got a line on where to find them or other compatible kits?
