Shock boots almost free

Rebuilding Mojave shocks.
Two of the shock boots had a cut in them, so I thought of buying new ones. One set (two shocks) is about € 8… hmmm.
For half of that you can buy 50 balloons, enough for, well surprise surprise, 50 shock boots.

What a great idea! The stock boots for my OC EXB tore after the very first run, and the Arrma replacements (which have been redesigned) aren’t doing much better. I may try your “balloon trick”. Let us know how they hold up, please! I’m also looking at trying shock wraps.

We used to do that on race days too. VET wrap also works great in air cleaner protection around the nitro air filter and also VET wrap your shocks. It keeps most of the debris out, acts like a shock boot and easily/cheaply replaceable.
