Yep, you can just change the rod end and make sure you adjust the droop screws correctly to avoid braking more rod ends in the future.

If you have a local shop they will have something that works. Arrma or RPM or Traxxas works too.

The new exb ends worked great for me they came with new deeper cups too

You want to set up the droop screws so that you need to compress the shocks a bit (like a few mm) to install them on the truck. That way, they will never go to full extension when driving, which is what breaks rod end.

Highly recommend @razorrc 's setup videos. Here is one on suspension settings and what they do. This link starts at the droop screws explanation. Agreed with @FlipSide on having a tiny bit of compression on the shocks as the droop setting for jumps/bashing.
