Anyone have a suggestions for an alternate to the stock composite balls on the tops of shocks where standoff goes through?

Recall seeing some using fuel line instead.

I can't be the only guy who has crawled around trying to find these suckers after they fall and bounce off the table. Need to get a bag like I did with the 3mm nuts.
