shock oil or spring?

hey all

I'm trying to set up the ZD racing shocks a bit better for my typhon.
Since I bent one and I'm taking everything apart again, I might as well open the shocks and fix them

I'll try to make them a bit shorter with the piece of tube inside the body method, but I was also wondering how to make them less bouncy

Should I change oil or the spring? I'm having a hard time finding a correct size spring for these shocks, I guess I'll go with oil?

Original 3s shocks have 35 and 40 wt

ive never tried any of the zd line... but if they have spring bounce definetly up the oil weight.. id try 80wt then head down from there.... id say you will probably find something useful in the 50-80wt range...
