Shock oil?

That’s treadmill oil and I was wondering the same thing.

Isn’t silicone oil, just silicone oil, wouldn’t the only difference be the viscosity?

Is there something special they put in the shock oil??
This stuff looks identical and is advertised for RC’s
Am I missing something??

I don't see any reason that wouldn't work. As far as I know RC shock oil a silicone oil with an added chemical that increases or decreases the viscosity. At 1000 C St, you're looking at an oil that's roughly between 80 and 100 wt, so it'll be quite thick. For reference the shock oil in the Mojave is roughly 42.5 weight or 550cst.
