Broke a shock rod end & bent a shock rod today. Looking to get the Nero ends that everyone talks about around here. Confused on which PN I need

These?

Also. Whats the best way to get the ball out of the current shock ends without breaking them? Thanks.

I went with the Teknos off my MT410. Some others are doing this also. Haven't broke a Tekno one yet. I got the Nero ones, but felt they were too tight a fit. Binded at the arms. I use my Tekno Shock Tool for the balls. But you can also use a hex driver thru the ball and needle nose pliers on the ends with some force. It's hard to break the end when removing/installing the balls.

Second set is the Nero set, the first set is for the Kraton not sure why it says Nero in the top.
But these are the Tekno ones you want https://www.amainhobbies.com/tekno-...ock-rod-end-spring-perch-set-tkr6140c/p979926

They should fit all 6S shocks.

The rpm ones are really beefy and of good quality. I just broke my rod end and was encouraged to get the rpm ones and I'm glad I did. You also get like 8 of them in a pack for 10 bucks. You want the ones for the 10th scale traxxas slash. I can get you the produce number If you want.

What balls do you end up using on those RPM ends. Do the ends match the OE length? Do the OE spring retainers fit well enough or are they looser than the stock ends?

I got the nero ends for now. Mostly because I lost my shock perch in the process and the LHS had them. I'm interested in hearing about the RPM ones though as I think I'm going to toss a set in the field bag if they'll work with a stock ball. I have read you want the short ones for shock ends and the longs work for steering linkages.

Edit - thanks @slick2500

Jeremy/"RC Collaborative" stated the same. Short for shock ends/long for steering.(y) I was initially under the impression that you needed the Traxasss balls for the RPM's.

I just put my stock arrma ones in and they fit perfect. I really like these rpm ones. They're beefy and you get a bunch in the pack. ?

I think the general consensus about aluminum rod ends would be not to use them, at least for the 1/8 scale bashers. I would much rather replace a rod end than to potentially replace a shock shaft. In other words, I'd rather break a rod end than bend a shock shaft. If you set your droop properly & check it regularly, you will not replace many rod end. Also, I will 2nd the Nero rod ends + Tekno balls, which will almost eliminate needing to replace rod ends as long as your droop is properly set.
