  1. Typhon 3s
I'm looking to upgrade my shocks on my typhon 3s. Any suggestions on what brand and what oil weight to run?

why are the typhon ones recommended vs the other models?

Go with the 6S Typhon shocks... Keep an eye on Jenny’s... They go fast when offered.
I just got some if the 6s shocks to install on my Typhon 3s, the top caps of the shocks have a larger hole that the screw. Any tips on what to do ?

You can use a pivot ball from the turnbuckles if you cut the flanges off. That's what I did.

You can also use nitro fuel tubing. I've done it in the past.

It looks like your caps are plastic mine are aluminum. Should the hole be the same size?

But the tubing or balls from the turnbuckles should work still? What vehicle were those turnbuckles off of?
It's the ones from the 3s BLX trucks. In this case it's from a Granite. They will still work but with just a little bit of play.
